Meet Format

Join in with Sussex Pumapeople for this winter meet of driving through the great roads of the picturesque South Downs and a fun pre-Christmas meal at the excellent Frankie and Benny’s in Brighton Marina.

The route of the meet will take us from Hove along the A27, over the fearsome Ditchling Beacon, before taking the snaking country roads used in the classic Pumapeople East Sussex Coast Run Meets through Lewes and onto Beachy Head, before heading back along the coast to Brighton.

Once back to the Marina, we can enjoy a meal at the great Frankie and Benny’s restaurant there. Both the standard and Christmas menu’s are available which I will post in the coming days. I have arranged a booking for 10 people. I’d be most grateful if you could confirm your attendance for the meal, as I have had to pay a £50 deposit to secure the booking.

This should be another fun and memorable Sussex Pumapeople meet and I’ll look forward to seeing you all there. Please reply to this thread should you wish to attend. Any problems or questions, then please do not hesitate in contacting me and I will do my best to assist. biggrin.gif

Would love to go but it's quite early to get to from Southampton on a Sunday morning, especially as going out the night before......

However, I note some other people from Hampshire (Portsmouth and Basingstoke) will be going so anything's possible. How long do you think the drive would take from Southampton? Can one bring guests along?

Will try and attend some more Puma Meets in 2007

Shermy

I'm coming from Basingstoke and normally travel down to Southampton then onto the M27 towards Portsmouth following the coast all the way down to Brighton. I'd say from Southampton you are looking at 1 to 1 1/4 hours to get to Brighton. I know the way so we could always drive down together.

I've got someone coming with me so feel free to bring someone along.
