Yes I know its early, but seeing as how things are afoot for what is a very special year for us Pumaii owners as its 10th Anniversary (something very special being planned, more on this in a few weeks...) then start thinking about the Calendar for next year.

Now I've got my head around it all, the Calendars will be ordered at end of November, so you only have 8 months to get your pics taken as I think the gallery competition will close in September.

Calendars for next year will not be coming from Jessops, but hope to use the printer Caz recommended, as for the 10th Anniv, we should have something a bit special.

So folks, have a think about what you want in the way of a theme for the calendar. Should it be single car per month or group pics from events over the lifetime of the club so we can get more people in it?

Imageds so far

Big Boy Al - 8

Hatton - 1

jeni8759 - 2

mickey2cv - 3

SPV - 2

Del 66 - 4

Lainey - 2

Jessie - 1

Happy-Kat - 10

Could do.

Happy with doing more than one as long as I have time to get all the pics etc to the printers biggrin.gif

Hence why competition closing earlier biggrin.gif

i think it would be really kewl to have group pics from meets - both cars and peeps - then its somemthing we can all look back at and smile plus we can get more people in it then -

also means more people may buy it if they are in it

might be worth speaking to performance ford - they might be willing to follow a series of meets throughout the year to celebrate the tenth anniversary - pics for us for the calendar and pics for them for a feature in PF biggrin.gif

I'll have to let Andy know you're thinking of 'using' him this year Matt wink.gif

As for the format - yup, group pics would be good... are you still going for the desktop calendar approach or are you thinking more of a wall one? If you went for a wall one then we could get more pics on each page wink.gif - a bit like the skoda one I did for 2006 wink.gif

(this wasn't the final version btw - tidied it up a bit before it went to print!!)

Totally open to ideas Caz, but i like that one.

Would be good if say the main pic was a group one, and then have loads of smaller individual pics

Maybe have two seperate competitions

one for group

one for individual,

and a person can "win" in both categories.

biggrin.gif as an idea....

the way I did the skoda one was to get folk to send me pics... I 'categorised' them into 12 groups, and everyone voted for their fave for each month.... winner was the main pic, the other highest scorers for each month got a place in the filmstrip along the bottom of the page.....

designed it and drew it all out myself, sent it off to Andy as PDF file..... glad you like it biggrin.gif

Only problem i can see with that is that at the moment, you on get one pic in the calendar, even if you get top three votes.

Not sure how we could do the same without creating a large amount of work both for me ( ewwww wink.gif ) and Jason to set up the voting galleries.

Will have a think about it though, and as you have shown, its possible biggrin.gif

I might have my car finished by then!

Need to find someone brave enough to stand in mud in the middle of the track to get the head on shot of the car charging through mud with it spraying up in the air at the sides.
