Hi all,

Am looking at buying some speakers for the puma, would like to use the original mounts, i dont fancy my ability cutting up trim and making spacers etc, can anyone confirm the size of speakers I would need for a direct swap for the front and back ones? Also, has anyone put components in? Any ideas on good mounting position for tweeters?
Who cares if theyre fake or not. id put my mouth on every pair of those tender juicy morsels. yummo.

Front original speakers are 16cm diameter. So go for a 16cm direct replacement if you do not want the hassle.
the only problem is the original front speaker is held in with 3 screws, 1 at the top (12 o'clock) and 2 at the bottom (in the 4 o'clock & 8 o'clock positions respectively).
You will have to drill new holes anyway as new speakers held in with 4 screws.

I made use of the existing holes with a pair of 16cm 220w 3-way Pioneer blade style speakers. That was nearly 5 years ago though.

That's the standard speaker grille isn't it? I can see my speaker that clearly from certain angles and the non standard ones would stand out more because the tweeter will be closer to the grille.

Dan I see your door handle surround has snapped. So has mine when I attempted to change my front speakers.
