Hi all, I've just got to the point where I need to replace them. If I remember I think ours are Focus ST170 rears. As I'm swapping them anyway I was just wondering if anyone had upgraded theirs? Or done any kind of mod? I know the standard set is ample, but I Gotta swap them anyway. Your thoughts please?

Don't think they're ST170 discs, that car wasn't launched until 2002?
I'm sure they are standard MK 1 Focus discs.

you'd need to buy the larger St170 caliper carriers to do that.. the caliper is the same tho...

I think the standard parts are in the wiki in the Puma parts article
FRP rear discs and pads are the same as fitted to Focus (not ST170 / RS) 1998 - 2004 and Fiesta ST from 2004 - 2008

searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

Don't bother trying to 'Upgrade' the rear ...totally pointless to be honest, just makes sure it's working properly..
Buy the proper pads that were originally fitted, they have much more bite than the motor factor crap
