I was in Liverpool and I was running late, parked my car at an NCP and left it there for 5 hours, when it was time to come home I couldn't find my keys.

Got back to the car and I had only left them in the door lock! ohmy.gif blink.gif
The car was still there and so was my radio, amplifier, subwoofer etc. Nothing had gone!

Talk about 18.gif

Yeah, that thought crossed my mind too. smile.gif Either way, despite being a bit expensive (the parking cost me nearly a tenner) NCP car parks are very secure! I didn't mind paying a tenner when I saw that my car was still there! laugh.gif

My 18 year old daughter, Kate, locked her keys in the car last Tuesday, when fetching her sister, Jenny, from the train - had 9 British Rail (or whatever they are called) blokes at Chesterfield station helping her break in to get them! rolleyes.gif

Hi Lisa, you were very lucky to come back to your Kat still being there. I'm glad that nothing was missing. I think a few people, me included, have left our keys in the door or ignition by mistake & been thankful to find nothing taken. rolleyes.gif

I went to sleep (at the back of the house) one night with a front bedroom window wide open a couple of weeks ago; then I went to work with it wide open

there was easy access off some roofing over the lounge

I did not find out till I got home from work and looked at the house from the front

I was SO lucky that nobody had climbed in 18.gif

You never parked in the one in Digbeth then. My Escort was parked 20 foot from the kiosk. Had a brick ( was left inside, thanks ) put through the window and stereo lifted. No one saw or heard a thing.

I think it was just a case of being VERY lucky that nobody of bad intentions had walked past your car that day...bet you were relieved when you got back and it was still there.

Dont you have a blipper on your key Lisa? - ive never put my key in the Pumas locks since ive had it cos i always use the remote fob.

it definitely was your lucky day there Lisa. Glad to hear your kat was left untouched. I know the feeling of doing that after I left the key in the ignition of my first bike when it was parked right in the middle of nottingham just on the pavement smile.gif

come up and see me...make me smile

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand - strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO -What a Ride!:D

I've woke up 1 morning with the the dogs barking out the back. Went downstairs to find the patio door wide open! My step mum went to the shops and forgot to shut it.

I've also came down stairs to find only 1 dog in the living room with her and after checking the kitchen, the other one was sitting outside on the back step looking very very lonely! with a "What did i do? " look on her face. She closed the door thinking they were both in! Poor thing was outside on its own for about 10 mins.
Well it was fun while it lasted...

Did that with Barnie, he was outside all night when he was young. In the winter. And it was frosty.

Still shows what a loyal creature dogs are. After he bit me, he was all over me smile.gif

my remote locking is broke, tried changing the battery in the key and reprogramming it but its not having it. Think I need a new key (but too expensive) sad.gif

I think it was a posh area of Liverpool though smile.gif

A posh part of Liverpool? Is that like the tasty part of poo? laugh.gif

Glad your car was still there, probably thought it was a set up! We regularly leave our doors unlocked on the house as we have the baby to pack into the car etc and we forget. wacko.gif

Fortunately our village is pretty quiet and crime free.
