The Frp Is Soooooooo Slow

Time to wheel the bike out of the shed, retax it and get out on the road.
So Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday the 23 mile commute through the lanes of E Anglia became a total joy.
Today I have a client meeting so I need the car. The comparison is horrid! None of that 'flinging yourself at the horizon' acceleration, no ability to ride down the outside of the queue at Lakenheath base, no chance to nip past the agricultural contractor convoy doing 10 mph and completely blocking the road for about eight or nine miles.
Still. I might change my mind once it starts to drizzle again - or the temperature drops.

Poomas are fun, but not as much fun as a bike.
So come on, what bikes have lot got?
I've currently got a '99 GSXR600, which funnily enough is up for sale here:

I'm buying myself a GSXR750 shortly, and then am treating myself to some quality 'me' time and heading off to Europe on it for a few weeks.

Is it in Blue/White?
They go faster you know? The colour scheme alone is worth an extra 50bhp.

I would of thought it would have more than 33bhp?

He only passed his test on Thursday, and bikes are supposed to be restricted to 33bhp for two years after you pass your test. To be fair, I'd de-restrict it too, but it's mighty fast for someone that's never really ridden a bike before.

Don't worry too much about it.
He'll either learn or die. There are no half measures with a big bike. It's all very Darwinian.

I long for a big bike , was at coast yesterday , guy in NINJA , lokked my car up and down grinned and he was off !!!!!!!!! Fast and furious !!!
PS he had some sort of star wars style plastic armour on his back ???
Could any of you bike lads , explain ???
I thought it may have been to keep his posture correct , or to keep spine straight in acase of a nasty fall !!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a back protector to me - it's there to provide some impact protection to the spine, not to keep it straight.
However, you'd normally wear one under your leathers or fitted into your jacket otherwise it would get probably ripped off in a crash. Could be a Motocross style armoured undershirt - i've got a dead funky Knox one, though it looks more like a ninja costume than a star-wars stormtrooper.
