Goodyear Eagle F1 are a superb tyre as are Yoko A539, the dogs for a good handling road car though are the Yoko AVS sport (Newish) also pretty good in wet weather!!!! Not cheap though

Nazazaki Ditchfinders.

The plastic like rubber will last for a lifetime, and they handle well in a straight line. laugh.gif

Seriously though i would like to hear the outcome to this one as i too am unsure of which tyres to get next time.

searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

I know someone who has them on the back of his Mk2 Escort and he reckons they are awesome... wear out in no time but they are cheap smile.gif

Prices for Eagle F1 delivered, no fitting/balancing/valve though, but there's plenty of scope at £8ish per wheel fitting cost from your local tyre fitter.

www.tyre4u.com £42.02 per tyre = £168.08 for 4

https://www.topgear.co.uk/acatalog/Goodyear_Tyres.html £39.48 = £157.92 for 4

Just put two on my car.....£54quid per corner and £4 tracking all in.....FROM FORD. The guy couldn't believe I beat him down that much. Will be cheaper still if you do get all 4 done.

Mail order also looks cheap but try putting 4 tyres in your car! (Its a puma after all! laugh.gif

Falken Zieux's

£68* a corner fitted at Pro Tyre in Bristol... Fair wear using them, last pair up front on my FRP lasted 10 months, excellent grip in the dry, reasonable in the wet.
