spot on - remember before you push the seat down, you need to hold the seat belts back in the slots L & R. Stops the catches chewing the belts when you put the seat back up!

Yep - that's it, open the boot & on either side there should be grey toggles. Pull both of these and the back seat can then be pushed forward.

i remember how i went to toys r us bought my daughter a bike went to the puma to put it in and discovered...... yip i didn't know how to put the seats down after nearly an hour i pulled the toggle to see what it did and hey presto!

lol. i was so confused i was looking for some handles on the back of the seats or something. I was thinking surely I've put my seats down before, iv had the car over a year! maybe not rolleyes.gif

Lol. I did the same thing with my new Kat on Sunday. Went to pick up the christmas tree and spent an interesting 25 mins balancing the tree with one hand (didn't want to lean it up against the car!), cursing madly whilst flailing with the other hand in the boot. I saw the little toggle things, but since they are so far forward in the boot, ie, away from the seats, I thought they couldn't possibly be connected!

Really simple clever system, once you know how!!!

I'm so pleased that I'm not the only one who's done this! I had two bikes to shift from Bristol, got to my mates house....... er! Ended up her uncle pulling the two grey knobs and hey presto! I felt like a right muppet. For some reason I always got the idea that the grey knobs caused the rear lights to come out. Don't ask me why. I'd only had the car for a few weeks and spent far too much time driving it than reading the manual, well that's my excuse anyway.

All the best,
Gareth.

Like your thinking Spencer but I'm 6' 6" so its pretty improbable, I can't even fit in the back. Hell i'd be worried I'd bust the seats if I laid on them. Furthermore my lass isn't short either...... rules that one out. Damn!

All the best,
Gareth.
