Yup Ford are now doing a car called an "MP3" and what's special about it?
It has a cd player that plays MP3's.
Looks like it only comes in black though, wonder how much they are to buy?
I know I enquired about the 6006 the 6 cd version of their cd player and they came back with £400!!
Anyone seen one of these?
Regards
Robert

Hey!
Don't go abusing my puma cd player! I bought the 6006E in silver about a month ago from ebay. Its an excellent cd player and the way that it stores 6 cds inside it with its own built in changer system is brilliant. It may not look amazing but it does the job without having need for a seperate changer. Am i right in thinking that they came as standard in the latest Puma Thunders anyway?

I had a 6006E in my FRP since I bought it last December and it's been fault free. You soon forget about the looks when it comes to the convenience of not having to lean over and play about with loose CD cases in the glovebox or open the boot to change the CDs in the cartridge.
Only minus points are that you don't know which CD is which once loaded (what exactly is 'CD1'?) and it's quite slow to eject all 6 discs one by one.
Unfortunately my 6006 got somewhat destroyed in my accident but is being replaced by TOAD under insurance I hope I can retreive the CDs that are jammed inside, there is a double album of Steps finest in there - I was listening to it when the crash happened...

Just rang Ford RE the MP3 player, they say it will be £498
They could not confirm but think it is black only.
