I have just ordered:

1) Billstein suspension kit
2) Pair of mondeo ST24V calipers (see issue 2 of bullitin)

Just need to decide on a rear disk conversion.... can anyone comment on how good rear disks are?

I've got them and i would say they are very good.
Probably more for looks than better stopping, but if its good enough for a FRP, then its good enough for me!! cool2.gif

I have the rear disc conversion as well - I also recommend it. I have 280mm focus discs at the rear and they look well cool. Even bigger than the fronts  . I still havn't really given the brakes a beating so I can't really say if they are better performance wise - not that noticable anyway. Looks the dogs danglies though. 8)

 I might save the money and keep the rear drums.
Just received a pair of used Mondeo ST24 calipers from www.hills-motors.co.uk a cool2.gif nd have ordered a pair of disks and some greenstuff pads.... hope to fit them on Saturday cool2.gif

Cheers

No, I don't have the inserts.

My mate who owns a garage says he would not use an insert in cast iron and I have searched a number of web sites and can't find inserts for this material. In addition, he says it is safe to increase the diameter of the holes in the hub, a method used by Pumaspeed.

Cheers
