Upload your sig to somewhere like photobucket.com and copy and paste the URL into PP. (Plus you don't get that annoying PP logo on the image too!)

Just sign up to it, then you can upload as many pics as you like (within reason)

I tried uploading my sigs into the PP gallery, but after uploading about 6 images with different file extensions (and none of them working!), I gave up and used Photobucket

Mine is a jpeg. I made it in powerpoint and right clicked on it and selected "save as picture" and then changed file type to jpeg.

Hardly annoying, quite discrete, and another thing folk have to remove if they are intent on stealing images from the likes of pumapeople to use in their "own" calendars on ebay... There is another thread on this very subject...

Hmmm... there does still appear to be an issue with posting links on the site since that update I applied the other night...

If you use a short link like this:

http://www.bt.com

You see the entire link, unabbreviated.

However, if the link is longer than a preset length (no idea, guessing 50 chars), then the forum code abbreviates what you actually see on the screen, throws a couple of .... in the displayed hyperlink, while preserving the real link when you come to click on it.

Since applying the update the other night, it would seem to me the real hyperlink is also getting abbreviated, so when you click on it, you're actually click a totally invalid link, which under normal circumstances would report error 404, page not found. Since I have a trap on the server to deal with error 404's, you get redirected to my chilled site.

So...I think I need to raise another ticket with the IPS bods about this new "feature" they've introduced! bhaaw.gif

CODE
