Debbies's passenger window motor has stopped working.

We have acquired a donor door with good motor, but I'm having difficulty working out how to remove to swap. Can't find anything on youtube, and no longer have Win95 to be able to read the old service manuals.

Does anyone have experience swapping the motor? Any guide or similar?

Or indeed, any link to a Puma Service Manual?

Thanks

Paul

Two pozi screws on the green slider which holds the window, undo those and remove the window.

Two rivets, top and bottom of the slider rail, drill those out.

Three 10mm nuts retaining the motor. Open those and unplug the motor power plug.

Holding the motor, turn the mechanism upwards so the rail is parallel to the bottom of the door and pull the rail out the hole in the door, motor will follow.

Thanks, that's saved me the £700+ Bristol Street charged me for the other side a year ago.

searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale
