I did ask about the stainless ones when I went to the bodyshop, he didn't think they would be a prob.

Thanks for posting this. my fiance's 51 Puma has started to get just the first bubble or two around the arches (the lip further forward connecting to the sills is looking quite bad too). Hoping to nip it in the bud this year with something like this - my Dad restores classics and has a fully kitted out garage including a car lift so I'm hoping to be able to do the work at his over a couple of weekends. Got TIG gear there too so I might be tempted to try the stainless ones... Looking forward to seeing the results!

Not yet, looking to acquire a spare car so mine can be off the road.

Hoping to get something organised sooner rather than later.

Are you intending to replace the felt to or remove it?

Refit it, I don't honestly believe it is a contributing factor.

I think someone else is just having some of these done, I haven't worked out when I can be without my car to get mine booked in.

searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

Hotrodspike used Peugeot 206 pattern panels, rather than the German repair panels.

Which curvy lip? The repair panels have a rolled edge, like the original wings, not sure about the 206 wings, but I assume they do too.
