Interesting looking shinny bits on your trolley :)

when i 1st read that i thought it was a bit rude calling my car a trolley, then realised you meant the suspension parts :roflmao: they are all new parts, new cv's, drive shafts, knuckles, hubs, wheel bearings, drop links, focus steering arms, abs sensors, new wishbones cut and rewelded plus camber adjustment built in, also on there is new splitter mounts, the rear 20mm spacers, and lower front grill in primer, i also replaced every bolt with heavy duty stainless ones! :phew::

Looks great!!!! How much did this project cost? If you don't mind me asking.

just to go wide arch, around 3-3.5k, that was all the genuine FRP panels, and all new suspension components, plus the repray, that obviously doesnt include the price i paid for the car plus all the brake, engine, and interior mods, plus general wear and tear parts, basicaly this car not wanted for anything since i bought it 6 years ago! the wide arch conversion would have been much cheaper if i didnt hold out to get hold of all the original FRP parts, for example getting fibre glass panels and wheel spacers instead of the proper panels and wide track components, essentialy IT IS A FRP as it has around 90% of the original parts as per ford FRP master list, the difference being i built it not tickford, and alot of the remaining 10% of parts will be either fitted or have uprated versions of fitted in the next few months :woot:

Nice! It looks like you have done a better job then tickford! I wish my FRP was black and had those wing mirrors! And all in all I think you have a fantastic car! And improved on the original!

thats very kind of you to say, the wing mirrors are a bit tatty if you look close but they are covered in rear carbon thats why i got them, will be taking them off soon and replacing them with formula race mirrors, should look a little neater then!

Hi mate.

I wanted to ask you something.

As you get wide enough to get to have the configuration of an FRP?

In the rear axle. Put 20mm spacers with frp, frp rear discs, and wheels of low offset (on ET 16) would suffice, no?

And in the front and the width is achieved?

Thanks

FRP wheels are ET28 (plus 20.5mm spacers and rear discs)
For the front you need extended lower arms, extended drive shafts, track rods, etc.

the turbo is a Garrett GT2560R its from a nissan silvia S15 spec-r (240hp), its an original nissan part, as for pistons, yes i am getting accralte to make me some forged pistons with a lowered compression ratio

thanks happy kat, i have done loads of research on what i need to get/have made, im basicaly tackeling the turbo conversion the same way i tackled the wide arch conversion by getting together every thing i need then putting it all together, i have had a lot of help from turby and bouncy, i have got lists for parts for every aspect which i just cross off as and when i get them, i will add pics as the build goes, still got plenty of parts to get plus i need to upload some more pics of the rest of my parts i have, stay tuned!

thanks mike, not sure on costs so far, i have been very lucky because im not in a rush to do it i have been able to keep an eye out for parts and have got a few bits very cheap, not included in the pics i have a second hand bottom end, an area six ported and polished head, a brand new FRP gearbox and a ERST 'pace products' charge cooler, all of which i got at very good prices, i guess by the time its finished i prob would have spend somewhere in the region of 5-6k in parts, most of the 'wrench time' me and seang will do by our selves, however it will be going to various specialist i.e. a proper engine company to rebuild my head, and a local rolling road to be mapped. to be honest to do it properly you need to have done the research and know what u need and how you wanna do it, but its really not that hard to do, i just wanted to build in as much reliability as possible so some of my parts you could prob get away with not having

yeah, focus track rods are almost identicle to racing puma items i think they are 1mm longer but thats ok, however they are far to long for a standard width puma!
