Mmm, nasty!

Still, she walked away with only a friction burn from the seat belt, lucky lucky girl!

Impressed that the passenger cabin was mostly intact. I'm a bit confused as to how the engine ended up where it did though ja_stupid.gif

chuffin eck - wonder what speed she was doing for the engine to get thrown that far!

what does a puma engine weigh??

she's one very lucky girl to have got away so lightly....

She did very well to escape serious injury there. I'm also a bit mystified as to how the engine escaped over there too!

that front left tyre looks pretty bald in the pictures! amazing how intact the cabin is though. glad no-one was seriously hurt.

on closer inspection i think it is the mud making it look smooth. the whole front has deformed just the way it should, with minimal intrusion into the cabin. must have been a lot of force to get the engine all the way over there though!

Once again a Puma sacrifices itself to save its owner.
I get the impression that these cars protect the occupants quite well in the event of a collision (for a small coupé anyway).

engine mounts are alloy & quite brittle, good at holding engine up but would snap under those loads

It probably flew out from underneath the car.

Everything been torn out from under the car, if you look at the drivers area pictures the gear knob has been pulled through the floor and no longer there.
