1. build a track ka but need to buy a ka
2. sell the stuff buy another car e.g fzs, 106 rallye etc
3. sell and save for travelling next year

4 - keep the stuff, save for travelling, get the bug out the way, then buy a cheap KA and do it for track
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

Track Ka!

But how much of what you have would be suitable?

What engine would you use?

I had considered this, also bear in mind that you probably don't want more than 15" wheels on a Ka, ideally 14"s unless you are going for SportKa suspension, which means rack limiters and a reduced turning circle.

dunno what sort of engine probs something like the 2.0 zetec, 1.6 turbo or i always fancied doing a frp'd ka with frp engine, wheels (not for track), tailpipe, seats etc finished in imperial blue biggrin.gif

suspension like gas coilovers or something not sure

as long as it has a good shell, prefer to be running. but the less the better defo under 600 as it would be getting thrashed and ripped apart!

I'd go for option 2.

You'd need to spend so much time and effort on a Ka to give it decent performance- the engines are just rubbish IMO... The bits you've got will only slow it down further... rolleyes.gif

A Pug 106 Rallye on the other hand...sweet handling and tuning parts are plentiful and cheap cool.gif Who cares if bits fall off cos it's a Peugeot, it'll save you even more weight... tongue.gif
