Very true.

To be honest i'm seriousley thinking about pulling the sale.
Been thinking about it more and more and the question i keep asking myself is, what other car am i going to get for 6.5k that can compare with or better the FRP? ja_stupid.gif ja_stupid.gif ja_stupid.gif

I would be very interested if only it wasnt so far away from where I am, and if I had a bit more cash saved up that what I do now, as at that price surely its quite a bargain huh.gif

+ It looks in fairly good nick aswell

In myopinion its too cheap even at the mileage. As you say what else can you get to compare to an FRP for your asking price. Sum it up in the hard light of day If you took the car apart and sold the individual bits you'd get more than your asking for the whole thing.

Be brave keep it, drive it into the ground and scrap it in a few more years and you'll be better off.
I'll probably end up buying most of the bits crazy.gif crazy.gif

I'll sleep on it and make my mind up for definate tomorrow.
Maybe i'd be better of selling it in the summer and hopefully for a bit more cash than i'm asking now.
Have been looking at the fiesta ST and the Focus ST170 and whilst i like both i still think the FRP wins in the looks department (interior and exterior) hand downs IMHO.
Been down to my local ford garage a few times over the last week, that was until they offered 4k for mine roflmao.gif
I'm just going to enjoy the fact that i'm driving around in a car that i've yet to see another one of around these parts ja_cool.gif

Its in a very, very good condition inside and outside.
Its not a show car with an absolutley mint engine bay and flawless paintwork but i can guarantee that there won't be a better one available at this price.
I haven't seen the cars being sold for 8-9k so cannot compare, however the car is stone chipped and the milegae is higher than most currently for sale so i tried to price it as fairly as i could based on this.
One things for sure though, the previous owner spent a fortune keeping it mechanically sound and i can't fault it.

I couldn't believe it, i thought he was taking the p***!
I wonder what they would have sold it for?
Must admit though, selling these cars has to be private as the most i have been offered from a dealer is 4.5k.

I am hoping that someone would be interested in doing a swap
I am looking to swap my Ford Racing Puma + 1.5k cash for a Ford Fiesta ST.

Hopefully one of u guys may know someone who would be interested

My vehicle details,
Ford racing puma (number 207 of only 500 ever made). Year 2000 "W" reg with 72k miles on the clock.
The car has full service history (8 stamps), 10 months MOT and 3 months tax.
It also comes complete with many receipts for all work/services carried out in the past, full HPI report, and original Ford Racing Puma Brochure. As standard this car comes in Ford imperial blue complete with blue sparco sports seats with embroidered Ford racing logo, blue ford puma embroidered black seats, blue alcantara steering wheel and door inserts.
It has had a new cam belt and st/st milltek exhaust fitted only last year and 4-off toyo proxes tyres fitted this year.
Completely standard car with original racing puma wheels, air con, heated front windscreen, CD player etc.
The car is in a superb good condition inside and outside. The only downside is that these cars tend to suffer from stone chips on the bonnet, front bumper and wings and this is no exception. Alloys are slightly scuffed but nothing major.
These cars are very rare, very exclusive and very sought after.

THIS CAR HAS BEEN EXCEPTIONALLY MAINTAINED BY ALL OF ITS 5 PREVIOUS OWNERS, HERE IS A LIST OF WORK CARRIED OUT WITHIN THE LAST 2 YEARS TO KEEP THIS CAR MECHANICALLY SOUND,

Replaced/carried out last year (2005)
Full cambelt kit
Water pump
Front wheel bearings
Alcon caliper service
New front and rear brake pads
New rear brake disks
Powerflex rear beam bushes
Pipercross panel filter
Hand brake cable
Milltek stainless steel cat back
Milltek stainless steel 4-2-1 manifold

Replaced/carried out this year (2006)
4 x Toyo proxes T1-R tyres
Both rear wheel bearings
Goodrich braided brake hose kit
Front alcon disks skimmed
Hego & TPS sensors
Laser wheel algnment

All receipts included.

If interested please contact me on cc014i7910@blueyonder.co.uk or PM me

the ST will disapoint you especially after having a FRP, plus if your problem with the FRP is the harsh ride the ST isnt a lot better if any.
