I wonder if he had played under someone like Fergie he would be in better state now?

Even though it was against Scotland his goal with the flick and the volley must be about the best I have seen.

Almost deffinately if you ask me. Not many fail the system under Fergie...Rooney would have gone the same was if it were not for Alex.

Fergie's good with the incredible talented youngsters - but he's learnt along the way.

Didn't he foul up Lee Sharpe and, to a lesser degree, Giggs? Gascoine was before either of these, so if he had been under Fergie it's quite possibe that Gazza would have ended as sadly as he did, but LEe Sharpe would have never appeared on "I'm a Nobody, get me out of Here?"

What happened to Jimmy 5 bellies? take it he went when the money dried up

Jimmy doesn't have an official role with Paul, they are best mates. So he travels with Gazza who foots the bill for all expenses.

Jimmy is trying to relaunch himself. He claims that he has some TV work on the horizon.

"If nothing happens in TV then I'd go back to fixing cars.

"I've had my time, I've had a good life.

"I've been around the world, thanks to my mate Paul.

" If it hadn't been for him I wouldn't have been there."

That must be a mis-type surely? - GIGGS? - One of the most succesfull players ever to play in club football in ANY era in ANY country??......there cant be many players that have 1) More Premier league titles...2) more FA CUP medals... 3) More Champions League medals.

Lee Sharpe was riddled with injury in the middle/latter part of his career and lost his form because of so much time out the game.

Giggs went through a phase of goiing out with celebrity girls and punched one in the face in a night club.

She was a blonde and in Hollyoaks but cant remember her name. I guess thats what he meant.

My old boss played under Fergie in the 80s with Robson and Bosnich etc etc and he said you did not mess. Tony, my boss, took a leaf out of his book and was the best boss I ever had!

The headline on the bak page says Fergie - "my biggest regret is not signing Gazza". I should be a journalist! laugh.gif
