Few piccies,

Please note - The hardbrake and gear stick gaiters are now the standard black ones and the CD player is also the standard one and not as in the pictures.
The only other thing to mention is that the steering wheel is a "retrimmed" version and the alcantara is a slightly lighter shade of blue.

Cant believe no one has bought this yet, its a bargain.

If i had the money i would have it off you straight away.

You seem awefully desperate to sell it though Chris?

I know mate and belive me i don't want to sell it.
Unfortunately due to the death of my father (who arranged the finance on my wifes car) the company took the car back.
We now only have one car, the FRP.
This is now our family car huh.gif
Its too harsh and too low for my wife and she is really finding it hard.
So its all down to prssure from the wife really.
I just wish i had enough spare cash to buy her something else but i don't sad.gif

Oh rite,

Sorry to hear about your situation, you must be a bit gutted.

R u sure that the st is going to be a better car though, i personally dont like them, and they to are a harsh ride.

If i was you i would go for another 1.7 puma, but then i guess you would be wanting the frp back even more if you did that.

I have tried to compromise with the wife.
She doesn't like the ST that much but i really like the look of them, although no where near the look of the FRP.
i know what u say about a standard puma though, i'd be gutted to go back to one (as nice as they are).
I haven't had much interest in the car (i expect xmas doesn't help) so maybe, if i could get a bit more cash together i could get her another puma (i think she want the millenium one if any one has one for sale).
i'm just a bit unsure about owning 2 x cars again as insurance is high and i'm still worried about future FRP costs (touch wood its sound at present).

If i bought another frp i think it would have to be a second car. going by the history of yours it has certainly had some money spent on the upkeep, and i wouldn't worrie about it.

But yes if you can get another car as well as the frp, as that will certainly help in keeping the maintenance low on the frp.

Believe me u will certainly miss not having it if it goes, plus u have got it at the wrong time of year to enjoy what it delivers, and thats a constant smile on your face as you fly through those twisty, windy roads on a nice summers day with the window down and your cool.gif on lol.

I'll sleep on it and make my mind up for definate tomorrow.
Maybe i'd be better of selling it in the summer and hopefully for a bit more cash than i'm asking now.
Have been looking at the fiesta ST and the Focus ST170 and whilst i like both i still think the FRP wins in the looks department (interior and exterior) hand downs IMHO.
Been down to my local ford garage a few times over the last week, that was until they offered 4k for mine roflmao.gif
I'm just going to enjoy the fact that i'm driving around in a car that i've yet to see another one of around these parts ja_cool.gif

I bought FRP #77 earlier this year after selling my Fester ST (owned one year). There is no comparison between the two. The FRP looks better handles better and is better made ( if a bit more expensive to maintain). I did like the fiesta (new clutch, lots of rattles, squeaks too many probs in only a year) , but the platform just isn't as good as the puma.
Keep yours. You won't b happy with any replacement.

Dave

I know what u mean about build quality.
The only thing that puts me off the Fiesta ST is the interior plastics are very, very cheap.
I do like it though but i agree that they cannot be compared.
