If they are by the brake drums, you need 2 x (PFR19-707) Rear Beam Mounting Bush.

This is the bush that will be replaced:

And this is where it is (rear beam removed):

This is what Powerflex look like fitted:

Forget about the Front Rear bushes, they are for the wishbone arms at the front of the car.
You won't want the Powerflex ones when you eventually replace them, they are harsh/noisy and you'll be better off with the Ford uprated (FRP) ones.
Wishbone Arms:

I had powerflex bushes fitted all round by Pumaspeed and they were brilliant, made a big difference, especially as teh originals were so worn.

Hope you fit them ok. You are not just changing the backs though are you? Fit the fronts too or your car will be really wierd. ohmy.gif

Great, will give them a try, Rhys has messaged one of the mechanics to ask exactly what i need.
Have you got a phone numner, found the site but no phone number sad.gif

Really , never felt a problem with the front though. Has anyone else ever just changed the backs and it been ok?

The front bushes look to only be £13 a piece, will need to question how much more labour will be charged

If the fronts are original and you go from sloppy backs to powerflex I would imagine you have the potential for some brown pants moments if you wring your cars neck?

YOu could get away with not changing them but I would (and in fact did) do them all together.

bare in mind if you just fit the standard bushes they will probably see out the rest of the life of the car or at least the time you'll own it....

and you won't have to put up with a harsh back end...

iv'e got a tool them fits them too... wink.gif

I will prob just get the whole lot done. I was expecting it to be £100 just to buy the rears and its going to work out about £80 i think to get the lot, then its just a case of labour charges

Seen as though everyone saying to change the lot i have rung a local garage who quoted £230 but have just rung Puma speed and they have quoted £146 being this full kit...

http://www.pumaspeed.co.uk/showdetails.php?id=697

Will be about £100 labour on top so £246 roughly. I will try pick these up on my way to Preston next week so i dnt need to pay postage smile.gif

What do we think? So confusing, wasnt going to bother getting fronts but if i change them all then i know its done... will it make a difference them 2 in this kit not being Powerflex?

Eldoodarino, what tool exactly do you have? lol. £100 labour is a little steep in my opinion when it will take them a max of 2 hours, probably an hour there! lol.
