Looks like W*** KBT (cant make out numbers.)

Someone that doesn't know what their selling though..

"FORD PUMA 1.7 RS RALLY LTD, 00, W reg. metallic blue, wide arched body, Recaro interior, 17 RS alloys, two tone interior, a/c, full e/pack, very rare model, only. Å“5,495. no offers"

I always though they were called Ford Racing Puma's not Ford Puma RS Rally???

Maybe a bargain to be had for someone if the people selling it don't know what a beast it is??

but if the person didnt know what a 'beast' it is, chances are its not been serviced/looked after properly and by specialists - is it definetely an frp?

Could either be the bargain of the year... or a complete dog.

With no service history, i'd avoid that FRP like the plague stickpoke.gif imho anyway

if its had the brakes replaced and the rest of it is (actually) in good condition, id say its worth a look at that price.

I wouldnt worry about the lack of service history personally. Proof the brakes have been done and then get it fully ( and I mean fully inc HPI) checked over having offered under Å“5k. Budget to replace cam belt(s) and full service and assuming no obvious accident repairs ( or if there is that they have been done well), gearbox/suspension etc seems sound then might be worth a punt. Could be a sound car for maybe Å“5500-6000 that way. Not a show winner but a FRP you could drive.
ex-owner of FRP 347 believe it is now R.I.P ! ...... now driving ....................... yes.... a Mondeo diesel. so per my daughter I am now Mondeo man, after Scoobies, BMW M5 etc etc .... ex-wife probably thinks how the not so mighty have fallen !!!

I agree with that. Its quite likely the previous owner just didn't bother handing it in when they p'xd it. Quite probably they P/xd via a main dealer who gave them a derisory price and it has found its way through the trade to this trader.

Total missing service history usually means
1) genuinely misplaced (see what records of it on ford / Pumabuild / pumaspeed computers. Get previous owners details and phone them.
2) Lost on purpose to avoid discrepancies due to clocked car. - you wouldn't clock a FRp to 80k would you?
3) Its had very little servicing done

A little digging tells me that car has had JUST 2 previous owners, current owner has had the car since 29 July 2002. I'd say that makes a refreshing change from the usual 5+ prev owners and current keeper having had it a montn or so!!

does anyone have a number for this garage or know if it is still available? I am after a cheap FRP for a daily driver. Would take a risk at that money!

296 came to me with virtually no printed history (But with only 14,000 miles there wasn't that much to be mising) It has been, by no means a disaster, now at nearly 40,000.

But this is a dealer.

It could be he genuinely doesn't realise what he's got.

What warranty is he offering?

Linky Link

EDIT: Oh think he said he was looking €11500 for it too.
