will mot for a year but no camblet change and only a radio cassette

not sure what they are going to offer for mine yet but what does everyone think???
come up and see me...make me smile
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand - strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO -What a Ride!:D

More important are things like Pass air bag, A/c, power mirrors, heated screen, and of course colour!
Also, does it drive well, and is it in good condition? Finally, what will the selling dealer charge to do the cam belt, after all, it wants doing asap.

How low is the mileage, and how many owners?
Slightly concerned that if it has full ford service history that the cambelt hasnt been changed... rings a couple of warning bells to be honest.

a car of that age will never be perfect, but a radio cassette? An aftermarket afterthought?
I was shown internet ads for kats by the salesman at the dealer I am getting my new car from, and £4k for a kat was certainly far from unusual - if it is useful for comparison they said to me that I should accept not less than £4k for mine from a private sale - mine is currently on 37k miles and has fsh and has had the cambelt done at 5 years
let us know how you get on!
Someone stole my Thunder...

and tyres like 50p pieces.
If it is fairly basic then that probably explains why it took so long to sell originally.

You've been looking for ages and you know you want one, so why not go for an FRP. Deep down you know you wont be happy till you do

I wouldn't think an FRP would be the right car for you, as they take more looking after and are more expensive to keep and run for a commuter.
A Thunder or as late as possible Lux model in a a good colour has to be the way to go.
