Recently visited chris the brake god in nottingham to sort my frps front brakes, he fitted new discs and pads plus a full caliper service and i am now braking with confidence once again. An amazing difference and at such reasonable price for an entire days work! Top bloke chris! Thanks!
Heres the brakes now ive got rid of the focus st orange paintjob, thought id try red for a change and im pleased i did.

They are painted with ford aerosols! Colorado red to be precise! Always painted calipers with normal car paint and never had any issues!

It is a 1965 Griffith (they were not sold as TVR's - made about 280 of them). 1965 Grantura (MGB drivetrain) but with a Ford 289 HiPo engine Ford T10 or Toploader gearbox and a Jag E-type Diff wit LSD.

This is the 3rd one made. Ground up rebuild to full race with about 4x the power of a Puma 1.7 and 3.3x the poke of a FRP. Will be about 100kg less than a Puma too.

Wheelbase is 85.5" (Puma is 96.3). So just under a foot shorter wheelbase - It will be twitchy

As I had done a big brake upgrade on my wife Puma, I had gotten into looking at what you could get inside a 15" rim. Cannot change the rim diameter. Could have put AP race one on (have on a TR6 with 15" rims with 315mm discs), but then remembered the FRP ones. They we spot on when given to BG (THE Brake people) racing with a hub and wheel to work out the adaptor setup. They are running on AP 305mm race discs. Should be nice setup.

This, the engine (somewhat uprated 302 based lump!), front hubs (safety) and sticky tyres are the only differences from an fia spec race version (like this http://www.youtube.c...yw&translated=1 ).
