Wizard Of Nos Works His Magic On #453.. Nitrous Install

Check these little beauties out...
REVO basically stands for Rotary Electronic Variable Orifice to sum up briefly, it works like an electrical motorised tap which can deliver extremely smooth varying amounts of Nitrous...Operates using MUCH smaller current draw compared to exsiting solenoids and is kinder to the engine....
The concept is totally new and blows all other Nitrous technology away by miles... so far it has only been used on pro mod racers so the technology gets a chance to speak for itself before released onto the open market....
here is a link to more details and pictures... http://www.noswizard...evo-nitrous.php
here's a little piccy of a pro mod arrangment that took some SERIOUS development...what a work of art this is...
also they have been busy enhancing the exsisting pulsiod technology and have created the X10 Solenoid pictured below...
there are a few new features with this design like an integrated purge port... but the asthetics of the design are awesome!! much more up to date looking and very stylish!!..
I probably won't be going REVO this year, but may well get a pair of X10's to use in my Fiesta...

the X10 pulsiods shouldn't be too different from the existing technolgy... but the Revo units do require the race version of the Max extreme controller (which iv'e got already) to drive them.... and are built to order depending on flow needed... I believe they come as standard set to flow 150hp minimum..... but can deliver significantly more if required... That masterpiece of a design on the piccy is capable of flowing 1800HP lol... .... the significance of the REVO is that it can be tailored to suit a moped or a fully prepped dragster as you can literally select any percentage of delivery from 1% to 100% whereas even the uniquely designed pulsoids only have an operating range of 20-85% due electromagnetic limitations..... because the delivery is so smooth and the mixture more accuratly controlled you could get away with using more Nitrous with the REVO system without the need for taking out timing (within reason of course).... TBH tho, a safer jet/shot size is, in a way, more fun, as you can use it more often and more safely compared to firing through as much as you think you can get away with..... 50HP settings add some serious fun to a Puma..

150hp minimum, now that would be some seriously quick frp, haha. Dont know how long the standard gearbox or clutch would last though.

probably longer than the pistons ..lol
You have to keep the controller adjusted accordingly.... firing 150 hp into a stock 1.7 would see it fail pretty quickly i would have thought... but using the MAX controller it could be set to say 5% rising to 30% over 2 secs for the first couple of gears then 20 - 50 for 3rd and 4th...(as a rough example)... with a different delivery for each gear the customising options are endless!! i'll be sticking to the pulsoids for the moment, they're reliable as hell and do the job brilliantly, without costing a small fortune...
