Hi

Having just bought a 98 Puma i think the previous owner might of fitted up rateted lowered springs. I'm thinking this, as they are bright red and in good condition, plus the ride is harsh and a bit choppy. I all ways thought Pumas looked a bit high, but this one looks OK, so can any one tell me the clearance from top of tyre to wheel arch lip.

Is this a popular mod? as the ride quality is a bit firm and clattery over the bumps ( thought my Corrado was firm) will it improve handling that much??

have a look in the forum, there is one with 16 inch alloys that is lowered, then there are plenty standard kats.

If your ride is really choppy then it sounds like they changed the shocks as well?

Could be Pi springs - I know that they are red and around a 35-40ml drop.
