Hello everyone

My little Puma has just been mot'd and the garage have advised there is corrosion on the power steering pipes but apparently these are not made anymore and difficult to get hold of. They do not need replacing yet and the garage are going to rub them down and paint them to prolong their life a bit but can anyone advise on what to do when they do need replacing?

Thanx
GF

If I were you I'd contact Ian G (parts trader an the forum). Tell him what you want and I'm sure he would sort you out with decent replacement parts. You could then refurbish at your leisure if required, then get the garage just to swap them over. Less time off the road and would probably work out cheaper.
Problem with these parts is that most second hand ones will be in the same or worse state so may be difficult getting hold of decent ones.
