I have a superb Grey Thunder 1.7 sitting at my front door.

Pros:

New engine 18 months ago with 40,000 miles on it (total cost £750.00 to install after cam belt disaster with old engine).

Superb leather interior.

6-CD changer.

Goes and handles like a beauty on road.

Cons:

Bonnet is stuck because it's been off-road for 2 months (I have anew car).

New battery (£70) is flat - but easily jumped when bonnet is released.

Usual shadow of rust on arches.

The reality is I could scrap this for £5. But I think it's a terrible step to take for a great example of a Thunder 1.7. This is a stunning and really, really powerful little car. It goes like a train. Seriously. I would love to literally give it away for £100 to anyone willing to come and uplift it. It requires some TLC and a few hundred quid for someone as a short-term project. It has many miles left in it and the seats/stereo/engine are worth more than that alone.

I can send pictures: contact me at eamonnpatrickoneill@gmail.com

A location/area might help
Magnum is a lovely colour on the Puma.
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

Ian G thanks. Haven't had any replies from the chap yet. If I hear nothing soon in next day or two, I will happily let you have it for £100!

Ian, just heard from the other chap and he can't manage to collect the car, so it's yours.

No problem, what day is good with you? Might struggle next few days but after that fairly free. Weekend also good if you can hang on.
