Had a small coolant leak yesterday, thought I'd fixed it but broke the pipe on the HCV (just what Glover warned me about). Trouble was, didn't notice till sitting at Twin Bridges when I magically disappeared in a huge cloud of steam!

do not drive it without any in as the engine will overheat big time

Which bit boke off?
I snapped on of the plastic bits off Jessies HCV, and it ended up in the feed pipe from the engine. Had to take the whole pipe off to flush it out

One of the plastic pipes with the rubber hose attatched, managed to get the broken bit!

Thankfully the new valve is fitted and I have nice new coolant now. Not too impressed having to drive home in the sunshine with the heater on though, most uncomfortable, even with the windows down.
