go easy on the go pedal in first... tongue.gif

especially!...

when grip on the floor isn't up to it...(gravel, wet..etc etc)

steering wheel is turned....

it just puts too much strain at the end of the shaft... unsure.gif

ANY local ford dealer should be able to sort this for you... cool.gif

So ford is better than getting a fully re-conditioned shaft with new CV's from Pumabuild?

I dropped the clutch at 4k in 1st... BANG! rolleyes.gif

The wheel was fully straight though. blink.gif

It's the inner of the passenger side right on the gearbox.

wouldn't say one is better than the other... personally i'd want new...but up to you...

the bar will be around £100 i believe...(or it is for the drivers side blue one) then it's a matter of buying the rest of the bits and gaitors to make it up....

pain in the butt!...

Congratulations!! smile.gif

You can get them from ford...get a tow as they are quite reasonable but i suppose it depends on how close you are to pb...

dropping the clutch at 4k is not the fastest way to get a fast start.
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

Did you actually snap the shaft itself or the joint?

My FRP (ex) shaft...
