At a guess, you'd be looking for a CD changer and a single MD player in the headset. IMO, unless you're an ICE guru, and just want to listen to the music, there all about the same. Obviously the higher the price, generally the better the system but could then included stuff you don't need.

Will leave the exact models to the people who live this stuff....

Not many manufactures make Mini-Disc players due to Mini-Disc being a Sony creation and them demanding licensing fees from manufactures that make the players. You are probably going to be looking at Sony or Pioneer MD players with CD changer.

Two of my mates and I have gone for Pioneer MD players and I must say they are a quality products, I would definitely buy Pioneer again. smile.gif

I have fitted the 'Pioneer MEH-P7300R high power MD/RDS tuner' head unit with the 'Pioneer CDX-P1270 12-disc multi-CD player' in the boot of the car. When I bought the head unit it cost £400! You have a chose of CD changer units with 12 being the most. If you fancied the other route I believe Sony do a MD changer if you want a CD head unit, That said MDs are a lot easier to change whilst driving than CDs.

The MEH-P7300R comes with radio steering remote and can play long-play recordings, very handy for playing my MD's that have double CD albums compressed onto one MD.

Check out the pioneer website for possible candidates. I would also strongly advise buying your head unit and changer on-line. I saved over £100 on the head unit alone when compared to shops.

I hope this has pointed you in the right direction. Getting ready to cruise in the sun with windows down listening to some tunes. 8)

Thanks, will look into the Pioneer website.

When funds permit, I'll let you know how I get on.

JVC do a MD CD player in one. I think it's called a Chamelion. it has the blacked out face that lights up, but doesn't flip forward. Quite expencive if I remember.... again, not an ICE guru.
