don't bother doing your home work, mine hasn't cost me much more, its so worth it......stop being sensible....( is that spelt right....)

I'd never buy an FRP without having seen some others to compare. :|

Thats fair advice, but I can't see another one coming along, any time soon, thats gonna fall into my affordability bracket!

I like to treat every car as individual, so I'll test drive it, and if I'm totally happy with it, I'll buy it, and if not, I'll leave it, simple as that!

Cheers for the advice everyone! 10.gif

It depends on your 'first impression' of the car I think. I never looked at any others at all, I just got lucky getting one as good as 383. I thought it would be in better condition than most others, and I was right.
David - Clio Trophy now sold! Megane R26 on the way - ETA March 1st 2008.
Ex-FRS #2787 - Ex-FRP #383

Well, the alloys were all fooked, kerbed to hell, would definately need refurbishing/replacing!
One of the side repeaters was half in/half out of the wing (passenger side)
The rear arches were covered in stone chips despite the mud flaps!
The doors were all chipped along the back edges, even rusting in places!

Would need some serious TLC to get it back to a decent standard, so I'm going to let this one go, and keep my eyes peeled for one in better condition! I'm not desperate to get one, so no worries there! Ho hum!

Cheers for all your advice people! 10.gif

If you're willing to come down to London (or meet somewhere inbetween) and can stretch your funds a bit, I have my FRP for sale at the moment. Has been to a few meets and has been well looked after. Let me know if you would like to arrange anything - otherwise best of luck in the search!
