Frp Rear Abs Sensor Cable

Hi I need to know were I can get the rear ABS sensor and cable that fitts to the near side rear hub for the FRP as most parts are of a focus but am not sure cheers.

that's the wrong one barry...

it's different from the standard puma one... it doesn't have the angle at the connector..(it will hit the spacer)

ford don't stock the part anymore..it's deleted...so this is the only way of getting it...through motorfactors

You'll have trouble fitting that one mate. The offside is OK but the nearside sensor does not go in correctly because of the angle on it.
If you look at the one for the Escort estate, the sensors are a straight entry so no problems.

If you use that link and their own select Make, Model etc. the ST160 (FRP) is listed and they say it is not compatible with their part.
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

Hi Chris sorry its late getting back I am still working on the car but there is that much to do will this one fit the Racing Puma as it will save paying out another £40 cheers Barry

Also looking at the sensor rings are they the same ones that are on the racing puma cheers Barry.

The FRP still uses Puma tone rings (aka speed sensors etc.).

Whats that Kate I have now got the coilovers on the car but just needed clarificaton on the parts ie ABS cable and sensors cheers Barry.

Hi Everyon I have now had the ABS leads changed and the new tone wheels fitted so the ABS system is working well again the next stage is to have four new tyres fitted then its of to the body shop. I shall post some more updates soon cheers for the advice and help.

New tyres now fitted the track has now been widened even more the next stage is the paint shop then who knows cheers for now.
