:(/>/>/> After 10 glorious years of joyful fun motoring, ill health has finally forced me to part with my beloved shiny red Puma.
She is a 1998 1.7, and she is not happy just sitting in her garage and only coming out on the increasingly rare days when I am well enough to drive her.
I am her 2nd owner and she has been garaged from new, she has full history for the last 10 years, a new clutch less than 2000 miles ago, recent cam belt, exhaust system , and Pirelli tyres. She has been regularly wax polished , and most of her maintenance has been done by my husband who is a qualified mechanic with over 50 years experience who is still driving his 1953 Ford Anglia that he has owned since 1967. Hence, she is much admired by all who see her.
She has no rust on top or underneath , as any that dared to show its face was ruthlessly dealt with, using MIG ,not filler, long before it had got established .
She has 12 months MOT and currently has 103000 miles on the clock, previous MOT certs can verify this reading.
She is totally original, with exception of the air horns and the CD player, (the original tape player has been carefully stored and comes with her, the original horn is still where Ford put it in 1998)
I am hoping that somebody with £950 will be able to love and cherish her like we have.
She is currently living in St.Erth , Cornwall.

Hi there, if i were the owner i would lock her up in the garage!! Just a couple of quick questions re the Puma if still for sale!! Is she an R or S plate. Does she come with the original Ford Lux pack incl heated front screen, air con, elec door mirrors......i see you have the original cassette player too :) (not too important these things, but curious) I had a 97 R R570 RSW for many years and i was looking for a similar model to the one i had.
I do live in Scotland, but no where is too far...given time.
Cheers,
Matt.
