HELP !!
I drove car home last night...no problems
This morning the engine just about turned over, but wouldn’t fire up.
About an hour later instead of a click (of the solenoid), and the assumption of a flat battery, I have a click click click with all the dash lights flashing as the starter motor turns over.
Urgent feedback needed please

Can't Start Puma is this a flat battery or more serious

You can still get multiple clicks from a flat battery, I'd probably try jumping it to rule that out.

OK thanks.
I have a video showing the sounds and viewing the dashboard. Is there a way of uploading this?

When I had clicks clicks clicks it was a flat battery.
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

Ok Thanks
I will get a new battery, it hasn't had one for at least 5 years, so It will probably need one soon anyway.

I'm no mechanic but I'd also suspect the battery. I had to get mine replaced last year after 4 years; the guy from the RAC said that the average battery life is about 4-5 years.
As far as uploading content is concerned, I use this site. It's a (free) cloud-based thing where you can securely store pictures and then just post the link. I'm pretty sure you can post up videos but I can't rightly remember! http://www.photobucket.com/

I would say battery too, easiest way to check is a jump start.
I had clicks on my Mondeo last month with no start, turned out to be a dead cell in the battery making it loose charge, new battery sorted it.
