Heater control valve power is decided by the heat dial on the panel.
Normal operation as follows -
Full cold - HCV plug 12v
Full hot - HCV plug 0v
Partial heat - square wave pulse (0v - 12v - 0v - 12v - 0v.....)
Width of the pulse depends on exact dial position.
Faulty panel stuck full hot would give you 0v at the HCV.
Check also the time at 0v, test for a minute or so to see if there is any pulse.
0v is normal at partial temperature but with pulses of 12v if you wait.

Thanks for reply!
With multimeter have
Full cold - HCV plug 0.01-0.05v for secont when time fan 1-2-3-4 and after secont 0.00v<br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-size: 13px; line-height: 19.5px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252);">Full hot - HCV plug 0v
This is faulty panel
This cable have any hidden fuse between HCV and panel hot/cold ?

I have never seen this fault.
Normally the panels give 12v but the pulses are wrong.
Can you see what voltages you have on the plug to the panel.

My Puma has just developed a similar problem but mine stays cold. Ford oem HCV replaced very recently, the a/c light and fan all work. I have no multimeter to check voltages, etc. Is there a simple way to way to tell if fault is HCV or Board and which fuses should I check. Thanks for any assistance.
