Not really a cosmetic body mod, but i picked up a couple of replacement struts from here: http://www.sgs-engineering.com/pages/home for £36 delivered and fitted them last night. Now the boot opens when you unlock it
Definitely recommend buying some, make the car feel a bit more new.
(only stabbed myself with a screwdriver twice too! )

Yup, got a set off ebay, fitted them myself - all you need is a couple of 13/14mm wrenches, really.

Hi there, i replaced my boot struts on my last puma , from a fiesta from the scrappie cos me a fiver i think! superb buy and now i've got another puma i think i will do the same, it does save u a bit of cash. BTW having them too strong and using them in wet weather is a nitemare as most of us know the water goes straight into the boot !!

Thanks Owen RW for the SGS website. My struts have stopped lifting properly so I've used SGS to order new struts so I can go back to having a working boot. I'll go back to having to worry about the rain coming in again!

My right one has a wire going though for the high rear brake. Breakers seem to think this is abnormal are they right?
