I had a new clutch fitted on Friday, took it out yesterday now it's ticking over around 1200rpm,used to be 850-900,now once moving it's running on if I put it into neutral at 40 with clutch out revs rise, clutch in revs drop!
Any help appreciated.thx

Check in the engine bay to see if any cables look disturbed thinking of the throttle position sensor.
Disconnect the battery for 30 minutes you will need your radio code.

No still at 1200rpm,& the revs fall really slowly even when still, but especially when moving,

Maybe take it to someone else to get their professional opinion and see what they think, they might think it's the clutch.

So,after checking & cleaning all connections & hoses decided to take the clutch pedal switch off & result, car is not over revving, still ticking over at around 1100rpm but a lot better.so going to change plugs tps & icv to see if that sorts the idle.
