I've been using mine quite a bit this past week or so. It's great, but not as good as I thought it would be. You reckon it needs an a/c service? From the service history, doesn't look like it's been done before.

Yes, probably needs re-gassing.

Having said all that, using the air-con seems to really affect the performance and smooth running of my Kat - once i switch on the air-con i find it difficult to keep a constant throttle, the engine seems to hunt quite a bit.

This is a common problem, mind you since having my ECU updated my Kat is fine now. cool.gif

come up and see me...make me smile

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand - strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO -What a Ride!:D

Mine works fine. However I just get cold feet, seeing as the direction control is stuck pointing at my feet. I've checked the control end and it's all hooked up and turning, guess it's broken off at the other end. Anyone any idea where it's located/how to get to it. Gonna be a dash out job is it??
