What and how do you clean the plastic lens cover with. With similar covers on Soarers before I used Blue bell/ fine type metal polish or dynoglaze which took the bloom off them. I have checked and they are relatively clean inside its just the outside on what looks and feels like a top surface or lacquer. Tiny experiments with the normal stuff produce vast amounts of sweat on my behalf but nothing on the cover - any ideas

I watch this thread with interest, mine need a good clean, at present I mask the defects with a silicone based cleaner but would like to actually remove the blemishes without scratching the surface.

Hmmm

Replaced the dipped beam with something more powerful and then cleaned the lens covers and it seems to be getting worse not better. Looks like its got a bad case of scabies

Novus has a 3-step bottle set that will get the scratches out of any plastic and polish it up nicely. I wouldn't consider anything else (I've used it to great effect on damaged headlights).

I found a guide on how to wet sand with the various grades and then polish back up using a rotary polisher to create a flawless finish. I recently did this to my 888 van and will be doing the track car soon as I will instal Lamin-x healight film in yellow.

I will try and dig it out
