Hi Folks,
i've been looking on this site for a while and today decided to go for a test drive of a beautiful blue T reg 1.7 puma and.......it's fantastic, so i pick it up on wednesday, i cant wait! It'll be a relief to get rid of my old boat of an audi 80 V6.
Let the fun begin!!
Some really good interesting stuff on this website.

Welcome Davie, I have also just purchased a Meli blue 1.7 on a 99 T and I am very surprised at how good it is (my previous car was a 290bhp wrx). Have you got any mods planned?

I think the cambelt is due at 80,000 or 5 years, (whichever is sooner) for your vehicle Davie. Just look for a large service invoice amongst the pile from the Ford dealer.

That is the interval newpumaboy, correct good.gif however some Ford dealers are still using the old interval of 100K/10years which for the 1.7 was reviewed a few years ago.

I think you really should have the remote one. You won't be able to programme a new key without it as far as I know.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Puma ownership

Hiya biggrin.gif

I have 2 keys but only one has the door locking button on. I dont know how much it would cost to buy another.
What is the tyre tread like, I just had my front 2 changed and the tracking adjusted. I went for Marshalls not Pirrelli.
