No - its needs a moderator to release the thread in there...

I thought it had been changed but alas no. - Still moderated forum for initial post

I think the mods have to approve it before it appears in that section.

I don't really get why tho... surely if there was a problem, a load of us could create a new thread each..... I mean if I can raise something in the main forums without moderation, what is the difference?

If someone where to mouth off in the site suggestions, they could just as easily in the main forum, and that has a wider audience...

*Confused*

The section was deemed in need of moderation because some (not all) of the threads being created in there at one point were rather petulant, as well as a ready source for chat-type posts. Another reason for making initial posts in there is to do with security of the site. Although, as you quite clearly point out, anyone can voice their opinions elsewhere on the site, the correct place is of course the issues/ideas section.

Well I can kind of see your point, and kind of not.

If someone wanted to slag something off, then inho they'd prob not use the proper channels anyways.

As it is, I don't have any problems with it tongue.gif

(Hopes he doesn't get his mugarby troups to come quieten me tongue.gif)
