Was very surprised with the speed of the NSX, the CSL held up better than I thought it would too.

Why did NSX guy press the accelerator while braking?
He was pressing it with the clutch in - doube de-clutching.

Even by the first bend there is someone shouting.."don't hit me"!
And whats with buying a white Murcielago? :eyes: The NSX Type R looks great in white, the Lambo looks like someone forgot to specify a finish colour!

Thanks for posting the link Ed
Remember the NSX-R officially has just 280bhp so holds up well against the others here...amazing what light weight and an experienced driver can achieve 8)
Also the CSL is amazing given the fact it looks like a 2 door saloon. Supercar performance can be in a variety of shapes and forms...

Why did NSX guy press the accelerator while braking?
Heel and toeing, braking whilst blipping the gas- keeping the revs up so as to not unsettle the car when downchanging with an abrupt release of the clutch.

"I bet Nakaya-san is really pissed at my Dad"
I think the NSX-R driver is Colin..he's just not telling us...only Colin late brakes like that! 8)

I wish I could drive an NSX-R, and as good as that guy who is incidentally a 'mature' driver who quite obviously knows the car and circuit well.
He certainly knows how to blip and downchange that car (witness the revs on the downchange at the last overtake manoever on the Murcielago) The FRP didn't like it when I tried something similar :help:

Col, whats the story behind that race or the drivers? I would guess that one or two of those guys are famous in Japan?

Yeah, that's why I was so surprised with it just having 280bhp compared to the others. I wonder if that 280bhp is genuine though. The 911TT was at a disadvantage because it was a Tiptronic though, still, very glad the M3 did over it's laptime.
