Staff have one question on the engines of 1.6 Zetec Ford Focus and Fiesta. These are identical to the Ford Puma 1.6? The gearbox is also the same?

The engine is the same, some ancillaries may be different, on the Focus and later Fiestas at least. The gearbox is slightly different on the Focus and 02on Fiesta - cable linkage instead of rods, the Fiesta (95-02) gearbox is very similar to the Puma but ratios may differ.

My goal and my engine swap 1.4 to a 1.6 and make it some changes in performance. I have many questions like:
The ford 1.6 zetec motors sells new? Would love to know if this is possible and what the price.
And where and how can I get a motor in such great condition?
As you know I'm from Portugal and here to get this engine in good condition is difficult.
The possibility of getting a 1.7 this to me a little out of the question.
I really wanted a 1.6 on my Cougar.
