I have been given a set ot mud flaps that came with a 99 black Puma from new. Not sure about fitting them, anyone else have them fitted ?
There are quite a few Pumas around where I live and I have to say none of them have mud flaps fitted.
I was also given a brand new set of mats which was quite good as mine are what can only be described as "well worn" Posted Image

Fronts are two slide clips and one hex bolt near the bottom.

Rears have two lever clips and some more torx screws, can't remember, I know they're more difficult.

They came with all the fittings so I guess its just a case of removing the current trim and fitting them.
Not too sure if they will look OK.
I can always take them off again if I dont like them I suppose.

Thanks for the reply.

I fitted them to my Thunder a few years ago...were a bit fiddly to fit but not too bad. Definitely improve the looks and help stop the car sides getting dirty.

I have them on mine, however the driver side hex bolt won't come out just keeps spinning round!! Any ideas how to get it out? On the passenger side there is no hex bolt, I have just ordered some clips as have only one on each side and the passenger side was that loose I have taken the mud flap off completely so as no to lose it driving to work!!

It screws to a retainer on the wing not the wing itself, only way is to get behind the arch guard and hold it with pliers while you turn the head.

Bit of a squeeze but if you pull the arch guard off and down from the top you can get in.

Managed to sort it out, the bolt went through a hole on bottom of arch itself, into a little clip, I took the whole arch carpet guard off as I needed to get to the water bottle anyway as it was leaking, and removed the mudflap, sealed up the washer bottle best I could and put back together, the mudflap is now nice and secure :) will wait and see if the sealant has worked on the washer bottle though!!
