Some stupid rabbit decided he'd like to play chicken with me the other day and give my front spoiler a Glesga' kiss.

Result = Smashed it on the corner, scratched beyone belief (do they have long nails or something) and it's cracked in two places. 90 GBP to fix. @rse. I suppose I don't need to go through the rig marole of getting a new one from Germany...

If anyone's concerned about the rabbit, he was last seen running away from the scene of the accident looking a bit dazed but he managed to scarper and avoid exchanging insurance details. oops.

Heck I'm coming to Scotland in a couple of weeks, reminds me of the Stag stood in the middle of the road going thro' Glen Coe a couple of years ago. He won I stopped bugger kicked the front corner of the kat tho' lightly grazing it, took the plastic coating off. Someone got it tho' or it looked the same size laying down beside the road a couple of days later.

I drove over a small rabbit yesterday while driving in Jeremy Clarkson's back yard...luckily it didn't hit the car but the rabbit was very much written off. Lucky I had mudflaps!

U kids are all light-weights! I was involved in a Transit .vs. Puma incident l.week.... Transit 1, Puma 0! "Right Mr Robson, that'll be new steering rack, we'll have to repair the struts, ur suspension has a number of curves that shouldn't be there etc etc" for the full story check out my Reply to everyones help in "Puma Newbie" on the general discussion page(if uz hav nowt betta to do!) I also have amassed a kill count of three birds and two rabbits in my time(I live v.close to some V.EXCITING country roads and the local wildlife often come across my path on one of my third gear sprints to the netxt hair pin bend!) I aint proud of it or nothin, killin animals aint big, it aint clever and i know it aint gaining me any friends...specially in the rabbit community!

Hit a pigeon the other day on the way to work, luckily it was mostly a glancing blow off the bonnet, but the Ford badge off the front grill came off the worst. Would not mind too much but cost me £7.00 to replace!!!

Haven"t had any dealings with Kamikazi rabbits but i came within a gnats whisker of hitting a deer this evening .This was no bambi but a big one like you see on Xmas cards. It proved my ABS works ,the back end skipped out a little due to the violent change of direction, not many cars will allow you to get away with this.I came that close to a very expensive body repair or worse.Ime not even sure how i would stand insurance wise .isnt a deer classified as a beast of the realm you know one of those grey areas some insurance companies use to get out of paying..Anyway both Deer and Kat are fine 8)

I'd never hit so much as a kerb (unless you count next door's wall - see Brave enough to confess thread!!) until I got Kitty. I've since notched up a number of rabbits and a large pheasant! :? Although technically the pheasant wasn't really me as the van in front of me hit it first and then it landed on my windscreen! Very messy, it took a lot of squirts of the washers I can tell you!!
Luckily no damage yet, apart from to the unfortunate creatures of course!

Biggest thing we hit was a cow in a wood with a Bedford 4x4 4 tonner...

Cows explode on impact - a little known fact...

Quite funny, cos the farmer claimed on the MOD for damage, but when the police and the local vet came to pick up the evidence, they were puzzled that this cow only had three legs......

Mmmmmm, v tasty meal was had later that week.....

;-)
