Does anyone know where I can get chrome light cases for my kat?

You know, ones having a chrome surround inside rather than black?

You need to take the rear light apart, get the black plastic bit chrome plated or glavanised, then reassemble. they're not off the shelf jobbies.

A while ago someone posted a link to a german website where this mod was described.
I think the topic was about changing the colour of the dashboard light.

Chrome spray paint IIRC looks just like the real thing (under a perspex cover). Well it looks like perspex

Simon Fagg done this mod, if its the Turbo Puma in Performance Ford then that will be his, but he has now sold it on thats why the guy didn't let on how its done wink.gif

AFAIK he had to split the lights apart and then sprayed them silver, and got them resealed, but when I saw them last time they had so much condensation in they looked a bit pants. It couldn't have been sealed very well.

Thats cos the lieing b'stard did bugger alll on that car. Simon Fagg was the loony that owned it and did 99% of the mods on it, that bloke in the mag (seems a bit of a wide boy) just took the credit after he bought it.

IIRC he's a 20 year old car sales "executive" think Daddy owns the company.

Soz, off soap box now....

I think the "Lexus" style looks better. The silver paint just looks amaturish I think.
