Hi,

Much discussed I know, but why does the Puma suffer so much with stonechips? I have some smashing ones on my bonnet now.

Has anyone any direct experience of this Armourfend thing? It sounds like the perfect solution to prevent any more appearing.

Any other tips for prevention (apart from not taking it out of the garage!) or repair?

1. Radically curved nose area of bonnet gives greater frontal area for chips to occur when compared to flat fronted cars such as Golfs etc

2. Change in paint regulations means that automotive paint is much harder (no lead) than a few years back. The old paint had more give, so less stonechip damage.
