Hi there !

First, i'm french, so excuse my poor english, i'll do my best.

I bought my Puma 1.7l on last april, actually, i don't even know why, i always loved this car... Anyway, I live nearby Marseilles and I planned to go to Scotland with my sister in my Ford Ka (shame on me), can you imagine ? 3000 miles in 8 days aboard this matchbox ?

Well, this must be one of the several reasons why I felt in love with my Puma. Of course, it was Hell to convince my insurrance, but I did and WE WENT TO PERTH !!! 2 days of road tripping, the first one through France, then we took ferry boat, landed on Dover and crossed almost 2/3 of UK, we reached our guest house on time and survived to left driving (ok ok, we met Lady Death 10 or 12 times !).

Of course, holidays were great, but i'm here to talk about my car. I drove it only 3 days before to leave, so it was wonderful to discover it. Comfort, power, safety, everything made our travel easier (except oil tank capacity) << EDIT : FUEL TANK

Looks like this forum is mostly visited by UK people, so let me tell you that i loved driving and taking a walk there, Scottish people are nice and not paranoid like french are.

Well, thank you for reading my useless message, have a nice day and may the Puma be with you.

Not useless at all. Excellent English (If you can sort out the difference between 'oil' the lubricant you add one litre at a time and 'fuel', which is 'essence' in French. So you have a small fuel tank, not oil tank) and interesting as well.

We just spent four days in Northern France on a pilgrimage to honour my Uncle who was killed at the Somme on July 30th 1916. About 1,400 k covered in that time - but not in the Puma. Because of our awful taxation we take the Citroen and load the back with wine and beer for our return. Your prices are so much better!

Welcome. Please continue to post. If there is anything you do not follow because we use informal English, just ask.
