Ford racing puma (number 207). Year 2000 "W" reg with 73k miles on the clock.
The car has full service history (8 stamps) with last full service in September 2006 MOT - Sept 2007
Tax - March 2007
Car comes complete with many receipts for all work/services carried out in the past, full HPI report, and original Ford Racing Puma Brochure.

Good Bits - This car has been exceptionally maintained by all of its previous 5 owners, see below a list of work carried out/parts replaced within the last 2 years to keep #207 mechanically sound.
Replaced/carried out last year (2005)
Full cambelt kit
Water pump
Front wheel bearings
Alcon caliper service
New front and rear brake pads
New rear brake disks
Powerflex rear beam bushes
Pipercross panel filter
Hand brake cable
Milltek stainless steel cat back
Milltek stainless steel 4-2-1 manifold

Replaced/carried out this year (2006)
4 x Toyo proxes T1-R tyres
Both rear wheel bearings
Goodrich braided brake hose kit
Front alcon disks skimmed
Hego & TPS sensors
Laser wheel algnment

Also supplied,
Original FRP car mats supplied.
1 x Pair of black ford harness/seat belt pads
1 x Pair of black 207 "personallised" ford racing harness/seat belt pads
Puma tax disk holder (not racing puma)
Smoked side repeaters
Sparco Chrome valve caps
Additional set of chrome valve caps
Red sparco front mud flaps
Brand new ford racing wheel centre caps
Ford Puma key ring
Sparco, blue leather handbrake cover.

Bad Bits -
The steering wheel has been professionally retrimmed (can't get hold of official ford steering wheel anymore) and the alcantara is a slightly ligher shade of blue than the seats and door inserts.
Only one key supplied
Front bumper, bonnet and rear wings are quite badly stone chipped (bumper being the worse) and there are a few bits of Imperial blue "touch up" paint here and there from previous owners (no rust)
2 x wheels scuffed and need refurbishing
Front calipers have been painted with blue hammerite and whilst they look OK they would have been better sprayed by a professional ( i like them though)

Brakes are due for a service

Best bit - Price £6999.00

I love this car to bits and wash, polish & wax as oftren as possible however a promotion at work and a company car (which i never expected) means i do not have the space to keep 3 cars. I would love this car to go to someone who will take car of it as much as i and its prvious owners have. I would also love it to go to a member of this site.

No part exchange please.

Location - Bradford, West Yorkshire

Please pm if interested.

Go on SK you've got to give in one day so it might as well be today. Throw away your abacus and reach for the stars.

Hold fire until the weekend.

The interior needs a clean so i'll do that at the weekend and take somes photos showing the condition of the bumper, arches, re-trimmed steering wheel, all 4 alloys and the seats.
Hopefully then everyone will know what to expect.
Its not a show car but then again i'm not selling it for 10k+
I am very, very fussy and if i love it then i'm sure many other people will.

Photos to follow

Unfortunately not, the new position requires me travelling all over the UK measuring sites for our kitchen equipment.
I thought about taking the money and using 207 but i don't really fancy travelling such long distances in her and also adding more miles.
I'm not having much luck with my wife either, she has a standard 1.7 puma which i want her to sell so we can keep the FRP.
Shes stubbon though sad.gif

looking through my paperwork last night, the brakes are due for a service, although there's no sign of "humming of squeeking".

Quit your job instead!!!

Sorry, that was probably not much help was it...

I'd love it, and I am in the car market a bit... only I really am looking for something with plenty of go ([whisper] - maybe not a ford[/whisper]).

Where about in Bradford - Buttershaw side or Idle side?
