I fitted one to my FRP recently.
I drilled and bolted, but it is fiddly. You need to unbolt the reservoir by the bulk head to drill the hole there and remove the resonator box on the underside of the bonnet.
The car has to be jacked up high so you can get the nuts on, I also had to but a slight bend in the end of 13mm spanner I was using to get it on properly.

do what i done with my first one makes life very easy.

mark the holes then drill them with a 9mm drill bit, then get a 10mm tap and tap a thread.

then just wind some 10mm threaded bolts in, simples.

that does seem a good idea, to tap the holes. what length bolts can you use to avoid fouling the suspension? i did plan on bolting it in the first place, but does seem a fiddly job unless i took the struts out, but this seems excessive! as a final note, did either of you actually notice any difference with it on?

I was concerned that I wouldn't get it tight enough with threaded holes.

I used 25mm long bolts and there is plenty of clearance.
My handling is sensational now, But I also fitted a LSD in the gearbox at the same time.
The harder I put my foot down in a corner, the tighter the car turns in and grips.
